Warghh... Is this what we call as freedom of speech?
Ironically,during its candidature for UN Human Rights Council, Malaysia, in its aide-memoir manifested that it will "promote free media, including in cyberspace, as well as the encouragement of vibrant and active civil societies"

Haihh.. what a contradiction. While previously promising to promote free media and active civil societies, Malaysian police force and the FRU at the same time keep on bashing and beating its citizens while they were rallying peaceful demanding for what they perceive as their rights.

Well, there is not much for me to say, because I guess the situation is already a well known facts, which need not to be spoken or explained anymore.

And btw, Malaysia is indeed a member of the UN Human Rights Council, elected to incumbent the seat until 2009. Well, Let's hope that things will change, or at least improve a bit by then.
